What you will do
- Manage daily operations of a global database platform from initial setup to tool development.
- Ensure maximum stability and availability of high-volume databases in complex environments.
- Install and upgrade databases and high-availability solutions.
- Develop automation, monitoring, and specialized tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge in PostgreSQL and MariaDB administration.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and networking.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with complex problem-solving and proactive root-cause analysis.
- Ability to work effectively within a global team.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AWS database services.
- Experience running MariaDB or PostgreSQL on Kubernetes using operators.
