What you will do

• Design and deliver engaging enquiry-based Setswana lessons for the Senior and FET Phases (Grade 8-12).
• Mentor and coach Apprentice Teachers by observing lessons and providing consistent feedback.
• Set rigorous academic goals and conduct ongoing assessments to adjust instructional delivery.
• Collaborate with learning designers and Deans of Instruction to enhance teaching practices.
• Manage parent communications and contribute to co-curricular programming.
• Participate in organizational professional development and collaborative team committees.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor’s Degree + PGCE.
• Valid SACE registration.
• Extensive experience teaching Setswana or having Setswana as a major in the final university year.
• Ability to lead a classroom independently with practical experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Ormonde, South Africa.

Nice to have

• Experience or understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives (O-levels).
