What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems to handle substantial data volumes with low latency and fault tolerance.
• Implement REST APIs and event-driven solutions to enhance system functionality.
• Build and optimize modern web interfaces using React.
• Create and execute comprehensive unit, API, regression, and performance tests.
• Optimize system scalability and reliability for a high-traffic e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production incidents and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java.
• Solid hands-on experience with the React framework.
• Extensive experience building multi-tier web applications and REST APIs.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.
• Location: Must be based in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Understanding of high-load system optimizations within the e-commerce domain.
