Salary: $149,750 – $275,580 USD

What you will do

• Identify performance bottlenecks and functional limitations in PyTorch, vLLM, and related frameworks for large-scale AI workloads.
• Optimize AI frameworks to maximize the utility of hirify.global CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators.
• Enable and optimize LLMs, generative AI models, and scientific AI workloads.
• Profile AI training and inference workloads across framework, runtime, kernel, and hardware layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and software requirements.
• Contribute to software innovations that enhance AI framework performance, scalability, and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, Math, or STEM with 3+ years of experience (or Master's with 1+ year, or PhD with 3+ months).
• Experience in AI framework development, optimization, or AI model profiling.
• Experience with PyTorch, vLLM, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or DeepSpeed.
• Experience in GPU or accelerator software development or backend optimization for AI workloads.
• Must be based in or able to work from assigned hirify.global sites in the USA (CA, OR, or TX).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, SYCL/CUDA, and C++.
• Experience developing in Linux environments.
• Background in AI framework internals, model execution, or backend integration.
• Knowledge of deep learning algorithms and AI workload patterns.
