What you will do

• Build automated data extraction pipelines and processing workflows using OSI PI, Statistica, and Python.
• Develop AI models from real-time bioprocess data to predict yield and critical quality attributes.
• Apply data-driven modeling principles in Python to describe bioprocessing unit operations.
• Create user-friendly applications and dashboards to visualize model outputs for process monitoring and performance evaluation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose process improvements based on data insights.
• Support process experts with data analysis requests, visualization, and reporting.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Computational Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of bioprocessing and statistical data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ETL of large datasets.
• Experience in handling and visualizing large datasets.
• Knowledge of ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Solothurn, Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Process Analytical Technology (PAT).
• Strong mathematical and programming background, especially in modeling bioprocesses.
