What you will do

• Drive GDPR implementation through governance, data inventory, policies, and controls.
• Provide first-line operational support on data protection matters for business lines and support functions.
• Manage Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and perform DPIAs, Legitimate Interest Analysis, and Transfer Impact Assessments.
• Investigate data breaches, manage notifications, and oversee remedial actions for data protection incidents.
• Deliver training and create organizational awareness regarding data protection compliance.
• Perform initial data protection assessments for third-party contracting and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 3 years of experience in control, audit, compliance, or legal fields related to data protection.
• Knowledge of national and European data protection laws and practices (GDPR).
• Understanding of banking environments, governance structures, and operational flows.
• English: Advanced proficiency (C1) in writing and speaking required.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Legal background and professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data ethics.
