Location: Must be based in or able to work from Calgary or Edmonton, Canada

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

What you will do

• Calculate quantities and measurements of building elements from drawings and contract documentation.
• Assist in the development, compilation, and finalization of cost estimates within project timelines.
• Conduct market research and price checking to ensure accurate project cost data.
• Manage project administration, filing, and archiving to maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Collaborate with senior staff to deliver high-quality cost consulting services.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
• 0-2 years of experience in estimating or cost consulting.
• Understanding of the local construction industry, including ICI sector projects and procurement methods.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and computer estimating software.
• Must be based in Calgary or Edmonton, Canada.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Working towards PQS or MRICS designation.
• Knowledge of CIQS standard methods of measurement, Elemental Format, or Uniformat.
