DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Bringing a live crypto-to-fiat payment platform's infrastructure in-house with an accent on AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and operational ownership. Focus on building reliable delivery and observability systems, routing payment-provider callbacks into ephemeral environments, managing regulated operational evidence, and diagnosing third-party failures under production traffic.
Location: Remote; where you live is otherwise up to you, with working-day alignment to GMT+2 / Central and Eastern European time.

What you will do
- Take ownership of externally managed infrastructure, map undocumented systems, control access, and bring active infrastructure work in-house.
- Evaluate the existing stack, improve it pragmatically, and document infrastructure knowledge for internal use.
- Own CI/CD and build fast, predictable delivery pipelines with automated test gating and self-service per-PR review environments.
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform or Pulumi/CDK, including reusable internal libraries for product engineers.
- Operate Kubernetes, observability, alerting, cloud costs, backups, access control, and change management for a live payment platform.
- Work directly with developers and QA, teach them to use the pipelines and tools, and diagnose root causes across internal and third-party systems.
Requirements
- Mandatory hands-on experience migrating infrastructure from a managed, legacy, or externally run platform, including personal changes and rollbacks.
- Real operational experience with on-call responsibility and independently defined alert thresholds.
- Expert-level AWS experience with EC2, S3, Aurora, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Deep Kubernetes experience; Terraform and comfortable Go development or code reading.
- Pipeline design experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, plus observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Sentry, and high-volume log analytics.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, PostgreSQL/Aurora, and ClickHouse; familiarity with operational controls in a regulated environment.
