TL;DR

Support Specialist (Fintech): Providing telephone-based and digital support for affiliates and merchants using hirify.global payment products with an accent on customer onboarding and technical guidance. Focus on managing complex data sets, creating internal and external documentation, and ensuring compliance for payment solutions.

Location: Attendance within the Cape Town office for US working hours (CST) is required

Salary: R280,000 - R315,000

What you will do

  • Onboard new and existing customer accounts and provide training on reporting tools.
  • Provide primary telephone-based support, as well as email and ticketing assistance to affiliates and merchants.
  • Develop and maintain content for the external help desk portal and create internal documentation.
  • Collaborate with acquirers and internal teams to ensure customer solutions remain compliant.
  • Contribute to internal projects and training programs to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in the payments and/or FinTech industry.
  • Excellent IT knowledge and proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complex data sets and prioritize high volumes of tickets.
  • Capacity to work independently without close supervision.

Nice to have

  • Experience using customer ticketing systems.
  • Prior experience in an IT Helpdesk or Support role.
