Location: Sydney, Australia. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-25% of the time is required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary experimentation expert during customer evaluations, guiding technical discussions from discovery through proof of concept.
• Advise data scientists, engineers, and technical leaders on experiment design, statistical methodology, and experimentation architecture.
• Educate customers on best practices for metric development, variance reduction, and the interpretation of results.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Product Managers to accelerate customer success and provide field insights for product development.
• Develop repeatable technical frameworks, content, and enablement materials to strengthen experimentation expertise.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Experimentation, Analytics, or Applied Statistics.
• Strong foundation in experimental design, causal inference, and A/B testing (including variance reduction, holdouts, and sequential testing).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, solving complex technical challenges for stakeholders.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia.

• Experience with experimentation platforms such as Statsig, Eppo, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly.
• Experience influencing product strategy or technical roadmaps based on customer feedback.
