What you will do
- Lead and mentor a mobile infrastructure engineering team, driving ownership and platform milestones.
- Define the technical direction for tooling, shared frameworks, and the developer experience toolchain.
- Integrate AI tools and workflows into code generation, review, testing, and incident analysis to increase velocity.
- Establish architecture decisions and engineering standards to ensure scalability and reliability at scale.
- Own performance engineering across the platform, focusing on memory, package size, startup time, and UI rendering.
- Partner with product, design, and backend teams to align on platform goals and execute effectively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of mobile engineering experience.
- 3+ years in a lead or management role focused on infrastructure, platform, or architecture.
- Deep expertise in iOS or Android development and the mobile platform layer.
- Active integration of AI tools into professional engineering workflows.
- Current right to work in Hong Kong is required.
- Strong communication skills for aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience leading dedicated mobile architecture or infrastructure teams.
- Track record of driving performance optimization for high-scale consumer apps.
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or other high-scale environments.
