What you will do

• Design and build production ML services including APIs, microservices, and real-time systems.
• Integrate ML models into user-facing applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Define and implement best practices for serving, versioning, and monitoring models in production.
• Lead and mentor engineers, driving architectural decisions for low-latency and high-load systems.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps teams to optimize the delivery pipeline.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks between the experimentation phase and production deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or ML engineering.
• Strong proficiency in building production backend systems, preferably with Python.
• Hands-on experience deploying and serving ML models in production environments.
• Experience with API development using FastAPI, Flask, gRPC, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of system design, scalability, and high-load architecture.
• Proven experience in a Lead or Senior role, including mentoring and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time ML systems for recommendations, ranking, or personalization.
• Background in video streaming or high-throughput platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud or on-prem infrastructure.
• Knowledge of feature stores, model monitoring, and A/B testing.
• Experience with MLOps platforms such as MLflow and Airflow.
