Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. The traineeship takes place at the Agency’s premises, with teleworking up to 40% of working time from the Netherlands and occasional teleworking from outside the Netherlands.
Salary: €2,049.77 per month for a full-time traineeship, reduced proportionally for 80% or 50% arrangements.

What you will do
- Contribute to planning and coordinating an AI project, including design, testing, and rollout.
- Gather and analyse business requirements for administrative process improvement.
- Collaborate with the LEAAAD office and divisional teams to integrate and adopt the AI solution.
- Participate in data preparation, model evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Document project outcomes, lessons learned, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations.
- Present project progress, outcomes, and benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- EU, Icelandic, Liechtenstein, or Norwegian citizenship with full rights is required.
- English at C1 level or higher and good knowledge of another official EU language at B2 level or higher are required.
- A relevant university degree of at least three years, obtained between 30 September 2025 and 30 September 2026, or current Erasmus+, equivalent, PhD, or Master’s student status with a previously completed degree.
- Knowledge of Python, including data cleaning with Pandas and NumPy, data visualisation with Plotly, and data validation with Pydantic or regular expressions.
- Communication, interpersonal, collaboration, adaptability, research, analytical, and learning skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Power BI.
