What you will do

• Write digital news stories and compelling articles based on on-air content and reporting.
• Produce multimedia articles using embedded videos, social media posts, and podcasts.
• Utilize photo libraries and image editing software to ensure visually appealing content.
• Compose engaging social media posts to drive traffic to the websites.
• Proofread articles to ensure they are accurate, concise, and compelling.
• Collaborate with the wider newsroom to ensure robust coverage of stories both on-air and online.

Requirements

• Journalistic qualification.
• At least one year's experience in a digital news environment.
• Knowledge of libel and defamation laws.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills with the ability to identify strong news lines.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and social media platforms.
• Willingness to work shifts on weekdays and weekends in Dublin.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Burli.
• Experience with image and video editing software.
