What you will do
- Oversee corporate media and social media activities to communicate priority workstreams.
- Manage a portfolio of media responsibilities, including network maintenance and production of communications outputs.
- Lead a team of media professionals, ensuring staff engagement and professional well-being.
- Partner with the Head of Division to design and deliver comprehensive work plans and strategic campaigns.
- Identify and mitigate organizational risks related to media and social media.
- Support communications and crisis management for the Secretary-General.
Requirements
- Advanced University degree in mass communications, public relations, political science, or economics.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Paris, France.
- 8-10 years of recent experience in outward-facing media engagement in a public service setting.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in managing large and complex teams.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management and messaging.
- Excellent written and oral command of English or French, and working knowledge of the other.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in an international organisation.
- Professional experience as a journalist.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
