Infrastructure Procurement Specialist (IT Infrastructure): Managing strategic sourcing and vendor relationships for server and networking hardware to support Proton Core and VPN infrastructure with an accent on cost-efficiency and technical specifications. Focus on translating infrastructure needs into precise hardware requirements, negotiating vendor contracts, and optimizing the hardware lifecycle.

Location: Must be based in Skopje, North Macedonia (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Execute strategic sourcing and vendor selection for server and networking hardware.
  • Translate infrastructure needs into precise hardware specifications (CPUs, RAM, storage, NICs) and validate vendor quotes.
  • Manage the full vendor lifecycle: qualification, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance reviews.
  • Develop mechanisms and metrics to track supplier performance regarding delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Maintain procurement software to ensure all data is correct and up-to-date.
  • Plan hardware refreshes and capacity expansion in coordination with the infrastructure team.

Requirements

  • IT-based background with professional experience as a procurement specialist in infrastructure.
  • Experience working in an international private sector procurement environment.
  • English: Proficiency required (B2+).
  • Technical knowledge of server and data-center hardware (Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, RAID, networking gear).
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills to evaluate offers and ensure invoice accuracy.
  • Location: Must be located in Skopje.
