What you will do

• Produce and edit high-quality, search-optimized copy for traditional search rankings and AI-generated responses.
• Act as the internal SEO and GEO authority, providing guidance on keyword usage, search intent, and content structure.
• Develop and refine AI-assisted content workflows using Claude to improve team efficiency and output.
• Perform peer reviews of copy for SEO and GEO compliance, providing constructive feedback to writers.
• Support client retention and growth by identifying content opportunities and contributing to new business pitches.
• Monitor algorithm updates and shifts in how LLMs surface and cite content to keep the agency current.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior SEO copywriter, preferably within an agency environment.
• Deep knowledge of on-page SEO, including keyword research, E-E-A-T, and structured data.
• Understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and visibility in AI responses.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (specifically Claude) into a production workflow.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating results-driven SEO content and brand-led copywriting.
• Must be based in or able to work in Birmingham, UK (Hybrid setup).
