What you will do
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the Airwallex engineering system.
- Collaborate with product teams to analyze business needs and design complex architectures for the billing platform.
- Develop scalable components using the company's microservice framework.
- Introduce innovative technologies and technical solutions to the engineering team.
- Manage technical team growth and establish high internal coding standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Core Java development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Internet applications, large financial systems, or e-commerce platforms.
- 1+ year of experience in payment platform development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java 8, multi-threading, high concurrency, and IO/NIO.
- Expertise in designing large-scale distributed, high-load, and high-availability systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with international clearing, settlement, or foreign exchange transactions.
- Knowledge of Cassandra, Redis, NoSQL, or Hadoop.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Scala, Python, or Golang.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS, or Aliyun Cloud.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Angular, or React.
