What you will do

• Analyze system and mission requirements to translate them into functional and technical software specifications.
• Design and optimize operational ground segment data processing software for Earth Observation missions.
• Develop solutions for large-scale satellite image and product management in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Perform integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) activities, including test execution and anomaly resolution.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and technical documentation according to security standards.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience deploying and operating applications in cloud-based environments.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and source code management tools.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Keycloak, and S3-compatible storage solutions.
• Knowledge of Space Agency methodologies and Earth Observation data processing.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and scalable data solutions.
• Knowledge of STAC (SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog), ZARR, or NetCDF formats.
