Systems Engineer (Clean Space): Performing environmental assessments for space systems and missions with an accent on Environmental Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA). Focus on developing eco-design methods for satellites and improving the knowledge of the environmental impact of space activities.
Location: Hybrid in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain. Relocation package available.

What you will do
- Review environmental assessments (LCA) at the space systems and missions level.
- Develop specific methods to assess the environmental impact of space activities.
- Contribute to the development of space technologies and processes for the eco-design of satellites.
- Support the technical management of ESA Clean Space activities.
Requirements
- Experience in Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for complex systems (space-related or otherwise).
- Knowledge of ISO 14040 and 14044 standards.
- Flexibility for occasional travel within the EU.
