What you will do
- Define and implement release schedules, overseeing the full release lifecycle from planning to post-release support.
- Coordinate activities across development, QA, operations, and support teams to ensure timely and certified deliveries.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to prioritize release content based on business objectives.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and risks in the release process and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Establish and track KPIs such as release frequency and deployment success rates to drive process improvements.
- Manage and optimize the release toolkit, including Jira, GitLab, and Launch Darkly, to increase automation and reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related work experience.
- Deep understanding of the SDLC, specifically CI/CD and release management.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Porto, Portugal
