What you will do

  • Define and implement release schedules, overseeing the full release lifecycle from planning to post-release support.
  • Coordinate activities across development, QA, operations, and support teams to ensure timely and certified deliveries.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to prioritize release content based on business objectives.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and risks in the release process and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and track KPIs such as release frequency and deployment success rates to drive process improvements.
  • Manage and optimize the release toolkit, including Jira, GitLab, and Launch Darkly, to increase automation and reliability.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related work experience.
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC, specifically CI/CD and release management.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Porto, Portugal
