Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, Melbourne, or Sydney

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of AI-powered tools and applications for internal use.
• Build and maintain infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters, serverless workloads, and ETL pipelines.
• Partner with product engineering teams to implement security automation and risk-reduction services.
• Develop ad-hoc tools for incident response, threat hunting, and system remediation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in production environments.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python) and one systems language (Golang or C/C++).
• Strong experience with modern cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and data pipelines.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
