Software Engineer Intern, Embedded Firmware

Location: Onsite in Singapore, primarily at an HPE partner/customer office.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and validate software for state-of-the-art networking products.
• Gather project requirements, design sub-modules, conduct investigations, and identify and mitigate risks.
• Debug issues, develop fixes, and drive issue closure with relevant parties.
• Participate in technical discussions, support decision-making, and communicate technical proposals, issues, and progress.
• Deliver assigned tasks on time and ensure high-quality product work.
• Collaborate with module developers, hardware and manufacturing teams, architects, project managers, vendors, and cross-functional global teams.

Requirements

• Available to start in January and commit to a minimum of 20 weeks.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent program.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and experience with software development tools and processes.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Interest and ability to investigate issues and develop solutions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, eager, and quick to learn; passionate about technology.
• Ability to collaborate and work with global and cross-functional teams.
