Software Engineer Intern, Embedded Firmware

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE partner/customer office

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and validate software for networking products.
• Gather project requirements, design submodules, conduct investigations, and identify and mitigate risks.
• Debug issues, develop fixes, and drive issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, support decision-making, and provide progress updates.
• Deliver assigned tasks on time and ensure high-quality product outcomes.
• Collaborate with specialized module developers, hardware and manufacturing teams, architects, project teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Available to start in January and commit to a minimum of 20 weeks.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent program.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and experience with software development tools and processes.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Ability to investigate issues, develop solutions, and apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, collaborative, and interested in technology.
