Service Engineer

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE office

What you will do

• Operate assigned technology areas such as server administration, technical security management, or performance management.
• Provide onsite post-sales technical support and deliver reactive and proactive service activities according to service-level agreements.
• Resolve routine technical incidents independently and collaborate with team members on more complex incidents.
• Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customer environments.
• Manage customer expectations during escalations and build relationships with management in assigned accounts.
• Apply company solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs and support customer satisfaction and account retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an associate degree in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in related fields desired.
• Basic knowledge of company products and service offerings.
• Conceptual understanding of IT environments.
• Effective communication with technical stakeholders and first-level management.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills, including proactive, reactive, and creative approaches within defined procedures.
