What you will do
- Design and build high-performance, scalable backend systems for enterprise-grade ad-tech products.
- Lead high-level architecture discussions and provide technical direction for complex projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production deployments and incident management.
- Mentor and grow junior engineers while fostering a collaborative and honest team environment.
- Conduct technical interviews and contribute to engineering process improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in Java (JDK 17+).
- 4+ years of experience building microservices and scalable products on cloud platforms (AWS).
- Strong expertise in SpringBoot, Hibernate, and RESTful API design.
- Proficiency with reactive programming (RxJava, Webflux), Kafka, and relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Must be based in or able to work from the Bucharest office.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and maintaining Public APIs.
- Knowledge of security standards like OAuth2.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Druid).
- Advanced AWS services experience (Lambda, EKS, Kinesis).
