What you will do
- Perform 24/7 monitoring of infrastructure and applications using ScienceLogic, Splunk, and ServiceNow.
- Manage the alert lifecycle, triaging anomalies and tuning alerts to reduce operational noise.
- Implement end-to-end observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) using OpenTelemetry.
- Drive SRE practices, including SLI/SLO tracking, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.
- Develop real-time operational dashboards in Tableau and ServiceNow to report on MTTR and system availability.
- Collaborate on onboarding services into monitoring platforms with consistent observability standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in NOC, Production Support, or Monitoring roles.
- Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as Splunk, ScienceLogic, or ServiceNow ITOM.
- Strong understanding of ITIL incident and event management processes.
- Knowledge of observability concepts and modern frameworks.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation or scripting.
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and telemetry pipelines.
