TL;DR

Location: Fully Remote (Must be based in Argentina)

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed designs, data models, and secure, reusable code.
  • Develop Unit, Integration, and Acceptance tests to ensure application security and reliability.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot REST/SOAP services, databases, and messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams throughout the full application lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve system performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of backend Java experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of DDD, OOP, and common design patterns.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API development and SOAP integrations.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in relational database design.
  • Spanish: Native proficiency required
  • English: Intermediate level (B1) required

Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, especially Azure.
  • Knowledge of messaging brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services domain.
