Trade Partner Lead (Retail)

What you will do

• Conduct COGS and margin analysis to identify and track margin improvements through optimized supplier terms.
• Perform inventory analytics to assess health, identify slow-moving stock, and optimize working capital.
• Develop reports and dashboards to increase financial transparency and accountability of supplier performance.
• Support the development of category-specific supplier strategies aligned with value creation goals.
• Ensure supplier agreements comply with company strategy and that negotiated benefits are realized.
• Provide commercial data and analytics for transformation projects, including supply chain automation and AI inventory.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role.
• Degree in commerce, accounting, economics, or finance.
• Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to tell stories with data and engage stakeholders through data visualization.
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from Richmond, VIC, Australia

Nice to have

• Previous commercial retail experience.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Understanding of category management and buying principles (shelf management, merchandising, ranging, pricing).
