What you will do

• Manage the full animation pipeline in Spine, including asset export from Photoshop, rigging, and optimization.
• Develop visual effects within Spine and Unity.
• Mentor junior and mid-level animators and contribute to internal documentation.
• Perform technical optimizations for characters and effects to ensure high performance in the game engine.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Spine, including skeletal animation, mesh deformation, skinning, and texture atlas optimization.
• Strong mastery of the 12 Principles of Animation.
• Solid experience with Unity animation and VFX workflows.
• 2-3+ years of professional experience in game development.
• Must provide a portfolio for consideration.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex projects involving unconventional technical architectures.
• Proficiency in creating UI animations.
