What you will do

• Build gameplay systems and tools that enable new narrative workflows and faster iteration for creators.
• Research and prototype AI-driven narrative systems, including quest generation, reactive dialogue, and authoring tools.
• Collaborate with writers and designers to translate creative goals into technical AI solutions.
• Design and run lightweight experiments to evaluate creative AI applications.
• Explore AI-native gameplay mechanics that preserve authorial intent while enabling emergence.
• Balance AI autonomy, reliability, and control to define high-quality AI storytelling.

Requirements

• Research or engineering background with hands-on experience in ML or LLM applications.
• Genuine passion for narrative (games, film, or interactive fiction).
• Curiosity and comfort working in ambiguous, exploratory problem spaces.
• A creator mindset with a desire to build tools that make others more effective.
• Professional English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Unreal Engine or with C++.
• Background in ML, NLP, generative models, or evaluation methodologies.
• Experience with narrative systems or quest pipelines.
