Machine Learning Engineer III (MLOps)

Location: Madrid, Spain

Salary: €55,500–€78,000 total cash annually, with potential pay up to €89,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable ML infrastructure for training, deployment, and serving in batch and real-time environments.
• Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines for processing and feature engineering.
• Optimize compute resources and model-serving performance, including low-latency inference.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and CI/CD practices for production ML systems.
• Collaborate with ML scientists to streamline the model development-to-production workflow.
• Research technologies, mentor junior engineers, and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in software, data, or ML engineering roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in Python, and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of ML algorithms, model architectures, and scalable, reliable ML systems.
• Exposure to AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and model-serving technologies such as MLflow.
