What you will do

• Lead the development and documentation of component and subsystem requirements for electric drives.
• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, and competitive assessments to meet propulsion targets.
• Coordinate component trade studies to optimize vehicle range, performance, and cost.
• Support the development of electrified propulsion system architectures through advanced technology phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Safety, Controls, and Finance.
• Leverage AI tools to drive process automation and engineering improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and testing of electric drives, motors, or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics theory, principles, and EMC design.
• Hands-on experience in high-voltage laboratory and dynamometer environments.
• Proficiency in commercial modeling and simulation tools for power electronics.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (as implied by U.S. non-discrimination and EEO policies).

Nice to have

• M.S. or Ph.D. degree specializing in electric drives.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical CAD/CAE tools.
• DFSS Certification.
• Design thinking experience.
