What you will do

• Design and deploy AWS security solutions using SCPs, RCPs, and IAM strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed security controls into the application lifecycle.
• Automate security tools including Prisma Cloud and Cortex XSOAR to mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Perform advanced threat hunting via SIEM platforms to detect and prevent security threats.
• Remediate vulnerabilities across AWS infrastructure to ensure compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on AWS security controls and best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Toronto or St. John's, Canada
• 2+ years of experience in a technical cloud role.
• Proven ability to design and implement cybersecurity solutions in multi-account AWS architectures.
• Strong experience with Terraform for developing secure, reusable modules.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for AWS environment management.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and identity/network boundaries.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial technology or regulated industries.
• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Proficiency in Java, Jenkins, Linux, or Bash.
• Enterprise-level infrastructure management experience.
