Salary: $140,000–$170,000 Annually

What you will do

• Coordinate and review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual domestic ASC 740 tax provisions.
• Manage IRS compliance processes and lead responses during state and local audits.
• Conduct technical tax research and document positions for business decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to embed tax considerations into operations.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to drive tax process efficiency.

Requirements

• Must live local to Buffalo, NY to work onsite
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Minimum of 8 years of combined public accounting and industry experience
• Proficiency in US GAAP and ASC 740
• Unable to provide U.S. sponsorship
• Strong technical memo writing and presentation skills

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree or CPA
• Experience with tax provision software like OneSource or Corptax
• Familiarity with Alteryx or Power BI for automation
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience
