What you will do

• Lead and grow engineering teams across backend, web, and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, React Native).
• Define and drive the team roadmap together with Product.
• Set up engineering processes for predictable delivery, high engineering quality, and healthy collaboration.
• Mentor and coach engineers through 1-1s to develop skills and unlock potential.
• Communicate context and decisions clearly to engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Stay close to architecture and key technical decisions to ensure a unified payments UX platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, comfortable staying close to coding and technical decisions when needed.
• Experience owning a product or platform area end-to-end.
• Proven track record leading high-performing engineering teams, including hiring, growth, and retention.
• Ability to balance execution with long-term vision, set up effective engineering processes, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments/fintech.
• Experience building platforms, SDKs, or reusable components.
