What you will do

• Define security architecture standards and guardrails for cloud-native, mobile, and distributed systems.
• Lead repeatable threat modeling practices across the product development lifecycle.
• Perform manual code reviews and security testing in Java and C++ environments.
• Scale security coverage using AI-assisted analysis and custom CodeQL queries.
• Triage externally reported vulnerabilities and drive systemic remediation across product teams.
• Mature the product penetration testing program and mentor engineers through a security champions initiative.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on application security experience with a track record of technical influence.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Atlanta, GA or Mountain View, CA for a hybrid work schedule.
• Deep expertise in application security vulnerabilities, threat modeling, and secure design for distributed systems.
• Proficiency in reading and reviewing production code in Java or C++.
• Strong communication skills to influence engineering and product leadership.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no immigration sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Experience testing agentic AI systems and leveraging AI tooling for security workflows.
• Background in building security automation at scale.
• Prior experience as a penetration tester for a multi-tenant SaaS provider.
