What you will do

• Carry out electrical installation and refurbishment works on water company sites.
• Inspect, survey, identify faults, and test electrical systems according to project requirements.
• Read and interpret design drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
• Compile survey reports, installation paperwork, and testing documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical teams and assist in specifying equipment and materials.
• Work in company workshops to build and repair electrical systems as needed.

Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
• 17th / 18th Edition certification.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in electrical installation and testing.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 standards and health and safety regulations.

Nice to have

• City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection.
• Control and automation experience.
• Confined spaces training and EUSR clean water card.
• Emergency first aid certification.
