What you will do
- Own the end-to-end AI strategy and transformation roadmap, from foundation model selection to business-unit deployment plans and go/no-go milestones.
- Lead build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for foundation models, AI tooling, inference infrastructure, and data platforms.
- Establish AI governance covering model risk, data privacy, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Architect and deliver production-grade LLM applications, including RAG systems, agentic workflows, fine-tuning pipelines, and prompt engineering frameworks.
- Build AI-native infrastructure for model serving, automated evaluation, A/B testing, prompt/model version control, and continuous monitoring for quality and drift.
- Drive organization-wide AI enablement via AI literacy programs, internal tooling/playbooks, an AI Center of Excellence, and a structured use-case intake process.
Requirements
- 10+ years in AI/deep learning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director+ or equivalent).
- Proven track record shipping production AI systems that impacted business outcomes at scale.
- Deep expertise across the modern AI stack: LLMs, transformer architectures, RAG, fine-tuning, RLHF/DPO, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to board-level audiences and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
