What you will do

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for the Philippines, including data validation, calculations, and post-payroll audits.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations (BIR), and statutory contribution requirements.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, variance reviews, and statutory reporting.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including HMO, insurance, and leave administration.
  • Collaborate with payroll vendors and internal Finance teams to handle journal entries and general ledger activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll and benefits operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting payroll and benefits administration in the Philippines.
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and BIR requirements.
  • Experience using payroll systems such as Workday or similar platforms.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Must be based in the Philippines.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with third-party payroll providers.
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, and general ledger processes.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
  • Background in supporting operations within a multinational organization.
