TL;DR
SAP S/4HANA Expert (ERP): Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's ERP system with an accent on system configuration, custom application design, and cross-departmental user support. Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Milan, Italy

What you will do
- Design, test, and debug software solutions to ensure seamless ERP functionality.
- Collect and analyze development requirements to deliver tailored ERP enhancements.
- Maintain and update existing applications to align with business needs and technological advancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with the HR Training team to deliver user training and ensure system adoption.
- Identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM, and SRM.
- Full professional proficiency in Italian (verbal and written).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of ERP operations, including financial accounting and procurement.
- Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- SAP S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud Implementation consultant certification.
- Previous experience in a research institute environment.
