What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript.
• Architect secure backend solutions and optimize PostgreSQL database performance.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for internal and external integrations.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications within AWS environments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement observability solutions for system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new product features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and modern React/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Docker.
• Ability to overlap East Coast hours (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET).
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, API design, and web security principles.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Redis, Sidekiq, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM platforms like OpenAI or AWS Bedrock.
• Advanced or fluent Russian/Belarusian language skills.
