What you will do

• Take ownership of commercial delivery and project administration for concurrent engagements ranging from short-term to 6-month projects.
• Define, manage, and mitigate project risks while enforcing reporting, milestone tracking, and financial management.
• Collaborate with account management and customer teams to facilitate seamless handovers from sales to delivery.
• Ensure accurate project reporting and maintain communication with all stakeholders regarding project activity and success.
• Mentor team members to achieve project goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be based in Auckland, New Zealand or Western Australia, Australia.
• 4+ years of experience managing big data projects with teams of up to 5 people and contract values exceeding $0.5 million.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale projects, ideally within the big data and analytics industry.
• Proficiency in industry project management techniques, including Agile, with relevant certifications (PMI/PRINCE/AGILE).
• Strong commercial focus with experience managing both Time & Materials (T&M) and Fixed Price engagements.
• Ability to travel across the region as required.
