What you will do

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
• Develop platform tooling and abstractions to enable engineers to deploy and scale workloads.
• Maintain automation for cluster lifecycle management, node provisioning, and provider onboarding.
• Investigate and resolve system performance and reliability issues across the compute stack.
• Manage the cluster addon ecosystem to ensure production-ready capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence through incident response and preventive automation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including concurrency, data structures, and architecture.
• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer building platform or infrastructure products in Golang.
• Strong experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production at scale.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, including kernel, networking, and OS image management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with observability systems and cloud networking security fundamentals.
