Salary: $88,000–$124,000/yr

What you will do

• Develop, refine, and apply computational methods to analyze single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and multiome datasets.
• Address complex biological questions regarding disease pathogenesis, genetics, and biomarkers.
• Create innovative analysis tools and data-visualization capabilities for internal and external stakeholders.
• Document and annotate source code to ensure reproducibility and community access.
• Collaborate with scientists, project managers, and software engineers to design optimal high-volume data workflows.
• Participate in project planning and software development meetings to communicate technical needs and tradeoffs.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of direct professional experience.
• Fluency in Python and/or R.
• Solid understanding of biological principles related to neurobiology or genetics.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing next-gen sequencing data, specifically single-cell RNA-seq.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
