QA Analyst (Gamedev)

TL;DR

QA Analyst (Gamedev): Testing newly implemented game systems and features to identify bugs and exploits with an accent on PC and console platforms. Focus on designing test scenarios, validating fixes, and collaborating with Game Designers and programmers to ensure high product quality.

Location: Hybrid (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Requires 2 days per week onsite at the Buenos Aires office.

What you will do

• Design and maintain test scenarios and plans based on project requirements and documentation.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects using Jira.
• Validate fixes from programmers and designers to ensure system stability.
• Organize and participate in playtests to evaluate gameplay and features.
• Coordinate with Game Designers and Production teams to mitigate risks and meet project deadlines.
• Assist the production department by creating screenshots and video captures of issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video game testing, including at least 1 year on PC or console platforms.
• Proficiency with Jira or similar issue tracking software.
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans and documentation.
• Familiarity with game engines, ideally Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform titles and 3rd person FPS games.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Experience with Wwise or similar audio middleware.
• Ability to automate repetitive workflows via scripting or macros.
