What you will do

• Review design engineering to ensure components are manufacturable, focusing on tolerances, materials, and processes.
• Create and maintain detailed work plans, including process steps and time specifications.
• Plan and design cost-efficient production equipment and support supplier selection and acceptance.
• Optimize production processes using lean management methods such as Value Stream Design and 5S.
• Conduct economic efficiency analyses and implement rationalization measures for process improvement.
• Collaborate with quality management on P-FMEA and failure analysis while supporting new product launches.

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, or a similar field.
• Professional experience in work preparation or industrial engineering.
• Expertise in optimizing sand casting and permanent mold casting components.
• Fluent German and good English skills (spoken and written) are required.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding with an analytical working style.
