What you will do

• Process accurate and compliant end-to-end fortnightly payroll for Australian operations.
• Manage earnings, overtime, commissions, and variable allowances in accordance with Modern Awards.
• Handle PAYG and superannuation lodgements while ensuring alignment with ATO legislation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and external agencies.
• Assist in overseeing outsourced payroll operations for global regions.
• Support the Payroll Lead with documentation, reporting, and internal/external audits.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience within Australia.
• Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is essential.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Superannuation Guarantee rules, and PAYG.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with major payroll/HRIS systems like Xero or Employment Hero.
• Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for professional query resolution.
