What you will do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Electron and hirify.global to increase developer productivity, OS stability, performance, and security.
• Contribute to key architectural decisions to adapt frontend and desktop infrastructure for new product features.
• Identify and solve complex technical challenges such as framework migrations and rendering bottlenecks.
• Maintain and improve core systems powering the hirify.global desktop client and Electron framework tooling.
• Serve as a mentor to engineers across the organization and coach new leaders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and execute strategically important initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience writing client-side code (React and TypeScript) for modern web applications at scale.
• Deep expertise in the Chromium project or experience contributing to large-scale open-source projects.
• Experience working in large-scale, shared codebases with hundreds of contributors.
• Expertise in building complex systems and leading technical designs.
• Exceptional communication skills to align technical infrastructure with business goals.
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools for web-based desktop applications.

Nice to have

• External engineering reputation via blog posts, conference speaking, or open-source contributions.
• Experience developing for Windows and maintaining build infrastructure for Windows desktop applications.
• Experience in fast-paced and dynamic product development environments.
