QA Automation Engineer (Java)

Location: Remote for specialists from Poland, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, or Montenegro

Salary: 3,500–6,000 USD per month

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, debug, and refactor automated UI and API tests using Java and Groovy.
• Implement API test coverage for middleware integrations with Rest Assured or similar tools.
• Analyze failed CI test runs, identify root causes, and improve test stability.
• Improve the automation framework through reusable utilities, test data builders, fixtures, and reporting.

Requirements

• Strong Java fundamentals and hands-on experience with Java-based test automation.
• Experience writing UI automation tests with Selenium or Selenide.
• Experience designing and maintaining an AQA framework.
• Experience writing API automation tests with Rest Assured or similar libraries.
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG, or Spock, plus Gradle or Maven project structures and dependency management.
• Ability to debug failed automated tests and refactor existing test code.

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications.
• Basic knowledge of security testing, including XSS and SQL injection.
• ISTQB certification.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry.
