What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain SQL Server database systems across all environments.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of database-related issues.
• Oversee high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including Always On, clustering, and replication.
• Manage database capacity planning, storage optimization, and resource monitoring.
• Develop and enforce policies for data security, backup, retention, and integrity.
• Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to technical best practices.

Requirements

• BA/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience as an MS SQL DBA.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server versions 2016–2025 and cloud environments (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL development and query plan analysis.
• Proven experience with HA/DR solutions in enterprise-scale database environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and maintenance.
